SmartMetric reports greater manufacturing efficiencies for its biometric cards

SmartMetric reports that it has successfully completed the production of its new advanced designed electronic circuit board that allows the company to use the same electronic board to make up to five different kinds of biometric cards.

According to the announcement this major breakthrough enables SmartMetric to achieve greater manufacturing efficiencies and allows for just-in-time manufacturing for a range of different biometric cards for different industries.

“Our team of engineers in Tel Aviv, Israel have achieved an incredible advance in electronic design allowing us to achieve a quantum leap in our manufacturing process,” explains SmartMetric president and CEO, Chaya Hendrick. “Not only do we have a super thin electronics board that sits inside a credit card but a complex board that allows for rapid assembly of components based on market demand for our now extended range of biometric card products. From banking, cyber security, building security to healthcare SmartMetric is now able to manufacture its cards on demand in response to the various markets demands.”

This advancement in mass biometric card production follows the recent advancement in its rechargeable battery technology that allows for a 100% increase in the batteries heat tolerance during card lamination.
