Plurilock and Gluu team up on continuous biometric authentication solutions

A collaboration to enhance authentication security

identity verification integration

Cybersecurity firm Plurilock announced on Wednesday a new partnership with open source identity and access management (IAM) software vendor, Gluu.

The collaboration will see Plurilock integrating Gluu’s IAM platform within its products, while Gluu will become able to offer Plurilock’s AI-driven multi-factor authentication (MFA) and continuous authentication solutions with behavioral biometrics.

“This is an exciting strategic collaboration,” said Ian L. Paterson, CEO of Plurilock, commenting on the news. “Deeper integration with Gluu expands our potential market footprint in new ways and provides Plurilock with the ability to support an in-demand IAM solution for enterprise clients.”

From a technical standpoint, the first step of the partnership will see new Plurilock create a new adapter that will be included in the open-source Gluu Server distribution from version 4.2.2.

“Integration with Plurilock’s authentication technologies gives the Gluu community valuable new adaptive security capabilities,” explained Mike Schwartz, founder, and CEO of Gluu.

As part of the new partnership, Plurilock also unveiled plans to develop additional components for use with Gluu’s products in the future.

“Continuous and AI-driven identity technologies are increasingly in demand, and Plurilock provides both,” Schwartz concluded.

In fact, the cybersecurity company has been expanding steadily in 2020, closing a $42,000 financial services contract with a major financial services client in America in September.

Plurilock has also appointed a new security leader in October and launched an Advisory Board in the same month.
