LumenVox and ImageWare appoint sales leaders to advance biometrics adoption

LumenVox has appointed Dr. Clive Summerfield, a pioneer in the adoption of speech recognition and voice biometrics in the public and private sectors, according to the company announcement, as a regional managing director.
Summerfield will head the Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand regions,
Over 40 years in the speech synthesis, speech recognition and voice biometrics fields, Summerfield has amassed more than 20 patents, and has worked on integrations of voice biometrics for citizen authentication by the governments of Australia and New Zealand. He has also helped financial institutions, healthcare providers, managed service operators and telecommunications firms implement customer voice authentication.
“Dr. Summerfield is a prominent figure in the voice biometrics world with a rare combination of customer focus and technical expertise,” said Edward Miller, CEO of LumenVox. “Because of his decades of experience, his skills span all aspects of voice technology, and we are thrilled he has joined LumenVox to expand market awareness of our award-winning technology.”

ImageWare appoints new VP of Sales
Just days after it announced it will stand up an IP licensing business, ImageWare has announced the appointment of Christopher (Chris) D. Dickson as its new vice president of sales.
Dickson brings more than 25 years of experience in sales and business development for security, blockchain, cloud and enterprise software. Over that time, he had held leadership positions around the world, including in Australia, New York, California and Switzerland.
“Chris brings a welcomed sense of urgency and focus to our company and a network of key relationships in the tech sector. He applies his deep technical background to his role which gives us a vital sales edge as he guides us to achieve our revenue goals. His passion for building teams, collaborating closely with engineering, and product management are Chris’s strong suites.”
Most recently Dickson has led sales for The Bitfury Group, which is a Forbes 50 blockchain company, where he was pivotal in the launch of one of the first Enterprise-based blockchain SaaS solutions to the market. There he delivered quarter over quarter growth and a 600 percent increase in sales over the first 12 months. He has also led growth at Enterprise SaaS company Panaya and with Verizon Enterprise’s partner and system integrator for EMEA.
