EgisTec fingerprint touch sensor ET300 to be featured in Philips’ new flagship smartphone

Egis Technology announced it has implemented its ET300 fingerprint touch sensor in Alibaba and Philips’ collaborative smartphone, Philips Aurora i966.

EgisTec’s ET300 fingerprint touch sensor module is the ideal choice for usage in mobile consumer electronic devices such as smartphones and tablets, particularly because of its small size, reliability, and high performance.

ET300 is able to read a fingerprint to accurately authenticate and verify the identity of the individual.

Additionally, the fingerprint touch sensor module has one of the fastest enrollment and authentication processes available on the market, according to EgisTec.

The company’s fingerprint touch sensor technology is able to read a range of fingerprint conditions including wet and dry fingerprints.

Overall, ET3000 is a fingerprint authentication and verification system that delivers high performance, supports 360 degree rotation and offers low power consumption.

Reported previously, Acer recently partnered with Egis Technology to develop a cloud-based payment system that will allow users to make secure purchases on Acer mobile phones or wearable devices.
