Egis to host FIDO pavilion, cloud authentication forum at Computex Taipei 2015

Egis Technology Inc. will be promoting its new line of fingerprint IC sensors, authentication solutions, mobile payment solutions, smartband, smartwatch, and VDI box as well as its FIDO Certified UAF & U2F products, at this week’s Computex Taipei 2015.

As a FIDO Alliance sponsor member, Egis will be hosting a pavilion for partners, Linear Dimension and EDOM, and FIDO Alliance members NXP, AGNITiO, StrongAuth, and ISR in Nangang Hall from June 2-6.

Additionally, Egis will be sponsoring FIDO’s keynote address in one of the event’s major forums, Cloud Security Forum on June 3rd.

FIDO Alliance visionary, Ramesh Kesanupalli, will present “Strong Authentication & the Cloud” on June 3rd during the Cloud Security Forum.

The keynote will address the importance of the work of the Alliance and how it has helped to transform the authentication landscape.

Egis will display its FIDO Certified UAF and U2F products, among the world’s first FIDO 1.0 products recently announced with the FIDO Certification Program.

Egis has developed wearable devices implementing FIDO specifications to combat security issues, including the YuKey SmartBand and SmartWatch, which features a combination of sensors including fingerprint, HRM, and activity.
The SmartBand and SmartWatch offers a range of applications, including identity authentication, smart lock, and keyless entries.

Egis’ Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) is an all in one device on the cloud/server access platform that offers fingerprint security and authentication based on FIDO specifications.

Previously reported, Egis Technology Inc. submitted and passed the FIDO Certification Program with their UAF and U2F products, including YuKey UAF Authenticator APK, YuKey UAF Client + UAF ASM/Authenticator APK, and YuKey U2F Authenticator.
