Egis Technology promoting fingerprint IC sensors, authentication and mobile payment solutions at Cartes

 

Egis Technology announced it is exhibiting its new lineup of fingerprint IC sensors, authentication solutions, mobile payment solutions based on FIDO specifications and PKI as well as their FIDO Certified UAF and U2F products at CARTES Secure Connexions 2015, held in Paris from November 17 through 19.

The company’s touch and hybrid fingerprint sensors are able to accurately authenticate and verify the identity of the user, with the ability to read fingerprints under various conditions, such as wet and dry fingerprints.

Egis’ fingerprint sensors and modules have been integrated in a range of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets, wearable devices, and docking station.

As a FIDO member, Egis will display its FIDO Certified and Ready UAF and U2F products and mobile payment solutions based on FIDO specification 1.0 including YuKey Pay, YuKey QRpay, and U2F Bluetooth.

The miniature-sized YuKey USB U2F dongle is world-class authentication product that uses Egis’ EH570 sensor.

In addition to offering fingerprint authentication, YuKey U2F dongle will feature driver and software free, password replacement, dynamic login (OTP replacement), and digital signature encryption.

The solution featured in YuKey is powered by PixelAuth, who focuses on the application of fingerprint in embedded systems as well as secure technology that works with biometrics.

Previously reported, Egis Technology (Egistec) received fingerprint sensor orders for integration into Samsung’s A-5 series of smartphones.
