Douwe Korff is a Dutch comparative and international lawyer specialising in human rights, with an emphasis on privacy rights and data protection. An alumnus of the Free University of Amsterdam and the European University Institute in Florence, he is emeritus professor of international law at London Metropolitan University and a visiting Fellow at Yale. He was the leading European lawyer in the establishment of the EU-backed European Privacy Seal (EuroPriSe) scheme and remains an accredited EuroPriSe legal expert. In that capacity, he helped ValidSoft obtain four EuroPriSe seals for its voice biometric and “device trust” solutions – more than any other company. Douwe joined ValidSoft as Data Protection Officer in 2018 to ensure that ValidSoft, and its solutions, offer the highest standards of privacy protection.
