Alcatraz, Plurilock, and Argus close biometrics distribution and sales partnerships for access control

It is an eventful week for biometric applications in the security industry, with Alcatraz, Plurilock, and Argus all closing deals aimed at expanding their offerings.
The new agreements will see the firms extend their biometric solutions for either physical or logical access control to new markets.
Alcatraz Rock added to PACE Solutions Portfolio
The Alcatraz Rock autonomous access control platform has been added to PACE Security’s solutions portfolio.
PACE is a security integration and systems design firm, which partnered with Alcatraz because of the latter company’s biometric security capabilities.
“We are excited to have PACE embrace Alcatraz Rock and its ability to deliver access control via facial authentication,” commented Alcatraz Chief Revenue Officer Tina D’Agostin.
The CRO also confirmed the company has already tested the Rock platform in different scenarios, including an installation in Martin Luther King, Jr., Community Hospital in Los Angeles.
The Rock is a touchless physical access control platform replacing or augmenting badging via facial recognition, 3D sensing, and artificial intelligence.
Plurilock retains outsourced federal sales agency
The firm announced on Tuesday it has retained an outsourced federal sales agency, Government Sales Specialists (GSS).
The continuation of the partnership will enable Plurilock to further its existing federal government processes, assets, and relationships. The company’s continuous authentication solution uses machine learning and behavioral biometrics.
Following the renewal of the collaboration, Plurilock technology will be now used by GSS to enhance security across the civil, defense, and intelligence sectors of the United States Federal Government.
The partnership with GSS is just the latest this year for Plurilock, which closed deals with a financial client in the U.S. in September and launched an Advisory Board in October.
Argus Technology Partners joins forces with AMT
Argus Technology Partners has executed a Master Reseller Agreement (MRA) with the American Made Technologies-United States Corporation (AMT) on Tuesday.
The agreement will see Argus sell quantum computing and biometric security solutions developed in collaboration with AMT.
According to Argus, the agreement is expected to generate over $2 million in revenue within the first 12 months.
AMT has in the past developed a number of solutions in the security field, including multi-Biometric ICAM (identity credential and access management), Quantum Application Emulation Software, Neural AI predictive software, military biometric vehicle access and more.
The corporation has also participated in several initiatives for U.S. national agencies, collaborating with DARPA, the FBI, and DISA.
